About SUPERVISORS OF INDIA (SOI)

SUPERVISORS OF INDIA (SOI) is a private digital marketplace and intermediary platform operating through soiglobal.in. SOI connects Clients, project owners, contractors, developers, businesses, and other users with construction professionals including site supervisors, civil engineers, architects, interior designers, project managers, quantity surveyors, MEP engineers, 3D visualizers, and related professionals.

SOI is not a contractor, employer, construction company, staffing agency, or government platform. This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Website, user accounts, professional profiles, forms, communications, and other services made available through the Platform.

We may collect information that you provide directly when you create an account, register as a professional, contact us, submit a project requirement, communicate with another user, or otherwise interact with the Platform.

  • Name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and account information.
  • Professional information such as profession, skills, experience, location, qualifications, portfolio information, and professional description.
  • Project information, requirements, messages, enquiries, and other information submitted through the Platform.
  • Information submitted for verification, KYC, or professional approval where applicable.
  • Payment and transaction-related information where paid services are introduced or used.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, approximate location, pages visited, and usage information.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to operate, secure, analyse, and improve the Platform.

How We Use Information

SOI may use information for operating and improving the Platform, creating and maintaining accounts, facilitating connections between users, verifying professionals, responding to enquiries, preventing fraud or misuse, maintaining security, communicating with users, complying with applicable law, and enforcing our policies.

  • To display approved professional information to users of the marketplace.
  • To facilitate enquiries and communications between Clients and Professionals.
  • To verify information submitted by Professionals.
  • To provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • To maintain Platform security and detect fraudulent or abusive activity.
  • To improve features, usability, performance, and service quality.
  • To send service-related communications and, where permitted, promotional communications.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, court, or governmental requirements.

Professional Profiles and Public Information

Professionals who register on SOI may choose or be required to provide professional information for marketplace participation. Once a professional profile is approved and made available through the Platform, certain information may be visible publicly, including the professional's name, professional type, location, experience, skills, profile photo, and other information intended for marketplace discovery.

Professionals should not submit confidential, unnecessary, or sensitive personal information in publicly visible profile fields.

Authentication and Google Sign-In

SOI may provide account authentication through third-party identity providers such as Google. When you use a third-party authentication service, certain account information may be provided to SOI by that provider in accordance with the provider's applicable policies and your account settings.

SOI does not receive or store your third-party account password merely because you use a third-party sign-in mechanism.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

SOI may use cookies, local storage, analytics technologies, authentication technologies, and similar mechanisms to keep users signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, understand Platform usage, and improve performance.
